Feel a bit underqualified to judge the deathrock sound on this. I might have been too swayed by seeing it listed as deathrock on other places, but I can see it as being more of a Christian death style deathrock sound than what I think of as modern deathrock. RYM also says positive punk, which I also dont feel entirely qualified to judge, but I can kinda hear it... My gut instinct would've just been a harsh version of goth+postpunk, but yeah...

Yeah, the Deathrock tags left online are definitely wrong. This is definitely close to the other Positive Punk bands, but more solidly goth, so I went for mixed Gothic Rock/Positive Punk. The similarity to Christian Death is real, but it mostly comes from being influenced by the same early goth bands. To be honest, Christian Death should be Gothic Rock/Deathrock too, I wasn't too confident when I assessed them, but now it's clear that Christian Death never really sounded like a stereotypical kind of Deathrock band with heavy punk influences.
